Chalker Family session at Aurora Farms

I have a sweet spot for this family. Maybe it’s because Bailey is a vibrant, fun business owner. Maybe because Austin is so fun and light hearted (and goes along with all these sessions we plan). Or maybe even because they have 3 incredibly sweet, joyful, and energetic girls that I connect with so well! The Chalker family session at Aurora farms was so much fun and we got SO many great photos!

I know these girlies love to run and play and we adults super love letting them run off for a bit! It gives us time for couples portraits of just mom & dad! And Bailey has been working her butt off losing weight and gaining a ton of muscle. So she looks absolutely fantastic and needs photos of just her!!! I am always on board for doing extra shots of just mama. It’s so nice to have a reminder (even just for a moment) that we are still our own person.

Bailey and I were thinking through some ideas for locations and I thought Aurora Farms would be perfect for the girls to run around. Plus give Bailey the neutral bright feel we both love. Thankfully Aurora was available to use and we were so excited and went about planning outfits!

Fast forward and its grey and raining on our planned day. Bailey and I went ahead and snapped a few photos just of her. We just used Aurora Farms front porch and it was darling. Bailey said she thinks these photos belong in a home magazine. They are so cozy and bright, the rocking chairs really make it feel like home.

Even though we didn’t get to shoot everyone the first day we did get to reschedule for another day. And we got beautiful weather. We got so much variety- getting to use the willow tree, the gazebo, the grassy area and even the PARKING LOT!! Haha you know that last one was all me!! Gotta use up every bit of glow we can!
