To say that FIVE years has gone by too fast would be an understatement. Getting to take Olivia’s 5th birthday portraits at Aurora Farms was an absolute treat. I am beyond thankful every time I get the opportunity to photography my babies. I honestly don’t think there will ever be a time when I won’t be calling them my babies.

Olivia’s birthday portraits were a breeze, she is absolutely loving taking photos these days. And I am so here for it! I do have one funny story to tell that sort of makes me crazy and then just makes me laugh.

Olivia’s birthday weekend was kind of busy (I mean when is life not? ha) But we had my MIL in town & staying at our house and her mermaid party too. To get the kids and Mimi out of the house so I could decorate. I sent them to look for a cute party dress. They found a sweet floral one and I just got to glance at it while I finished the food.

They came back just in time to change and be ready for family to come over. The party went great, it was fun and lots of little people running around. Mimi & Olivia did a great job picking her dress for the party so we wanted to use it for portraits. I thought maybe the dress was a little short, but just thought it was how she was standing. Or maybe she had it tucked in her panties.

We tugged her dress down a bit while shooting but didn’t pay too much attention to it. We only had a little bit of light so we focused on using it all!

Once we got home I told Via to go ahead and change into jammies. But she was struggling getting it off her head. Come to find out that it was too short, and small around her head because it was a 2T size!!! Hahaha! The thought to do her photos with a correct 5T size crossed my mind for a second. But decided that isn’t happening!

What 5 Years young looks like for Via::

• New found independance
• Her first loose tooth!!
• Calming down- yet still filled with so much joy!
• LEARNING SO MUCH
• Wanting to take care of Bubs and help mama so much
• Via just has this beautiful, grown up look to her now and it’s melting me.
• Over the summer she gained some cutie little freckles on her nose
• She loves eating fruit buttons, shopping, one on one time & playing babies
• All the hands all crafts, creations & experiments!
