Lane + Emma – Senior Session

For Lane and Emma’s Senior session we did something a little different than I normally do! We did a joint couples & senior session, and it was so great!! We got great shots of Lane laughing since Emma was in the background making sure he used the “correct” smile! Poor guy! But the more we shot the more they relaxed and just had fun! It was actually really helpful to have them both there feeling the same nervousness at first. But the more we got into the session the more fun and giggles we had! Having that extra comfort in a session buddy really made a difference, and it shows in the images.

It was so fun trying to get Emma to do a model face because she just couldn’t hold it! We also may have passed a peach tree (behind Pink Mamas) that was dropping a ton of tiny peaches… so I couldn’t help myself and apparently neither could Lane. A few minutes later, Emma was complaining that something around her smelled like poop and Lane said his tongue felt weird after trying the peach! All crisis were avoided and we still got adorable shots!

We started in downtown Travelers Rest, I had just recently shot down there and I wanted to find a new spot, and we found two! I love downtown TR in all its cute and cozy feels. Our second location after a quick wardrobe change was a private field, it was so dreamy to shoot! Tall, soft grass and just the last little bit of glow was perfect for ending the evening.

I really loved this joyful experience of combining sessions and getting so much variety and sweetness. I would definitely do another session like this! Here are some of my favorites from our time in TR!
