Pace Family Session in Travelers Rest, South Carolina
Cayla is one of my older sisters, if you know anything about me then you have to know that I have 7 sisters! Haha Cayla is number 2 in line and I’m the 3rd! We did not always love each other as kids, but we sure do have a great relationship now. I am beyond thankful for our friendship and getting to be mamas to our wild 5 kiddos! I was so happy to get to photograph the Pace family in Travelers Rest, where they do life!
About a week before their session I had picked up Olivia (mine) and Katherine (hers) from school and they fell asleep in the car. So I kidnapped Cayla and we went for a drive around their house just looking for photo spots! This spot is actually on a road that goes from Cayla’s house to her in laws house. So fun!
But we saw this little break in the fence and the field and I said oh yes we should definitely try this spot! We had to do their session in the morning so I was kind of worried how the light was going to be since I hadn’t seen in in the morning or evening.
BUT look at how beautiful and glowy these photos turned out!! Cayla wanted fall colors, and nearly all the trees were nearly naked by this time. She lucked out in this sweet spot.
Last time her family was in front of my camera, Kat was a baby and now she’s a giant 3 yr old! I was SO impressed by how well the kids behaved and did what I asked the entire time! You never know when you’re photographing kiddos how they will act. But also when you throw in the fact of being related to them! Haha! I am so proud of Will, Ella and Kat for taking some adorable photos.
My favorite set of photos is the last ones we did. Will said he wanted to pitch an idea for them all to do, and I said that’d be a great idea. Will’s idea was to throw their hands up into the air and give a little dance! It turned out to be so fun and cute, you’ll see!
Enjoy my favorites from the Pace Family session in Travelers Rest!
