Keith + Mackenzie | Couples Portraits

Keith and Mackenzie were an absolute dream to photograph! I could not ask for a more photogenic couple, even Keith had a fun time doing portraits! We met up at Hibernium Hall, Downtown Charleston to start our session. The weather was absolute perfection, not too hot or humid- just perfect Charleston temps! I had never shot at Hibernium Hall before but you better believe you will find me there again in the future! I just can’t get enough of that beautiful tile floor at the front of the building.

From Hibernium Hall we walked quite a bit, and made several stops for photos! That’s what I love so much about Downtown Charleston – at every turn there is a photographers paradise! There are so many colors, buildings, textures and beautiful lighting everywhere you go. And we actually ended up waterfront with some gorgeous flowers- you know we had to shoot in!

I’m so thankful to my mom and grandma for taking the kids on a drive and fun walk around downtown as we were shooting. So it’s no surprise that we ran into them walking when we were shooting! It was so fun to let my kiddos see what I do beyond the computer and behind the scenes work! Keith was making a new buddy out of Everett right away, and Mackenzie got to catch up with my mom for a minute before we finished shooting at The Battery!!

Keith and Mackenzie are both at Charleston Southern studying biology, working and we are already planning more photos later this year! I know!1 I’m just as excited as you are for more Keith + Mackenzie!!
