Olivia~ 2 Months

Olivia turned TWO months old December 2nd! I just can’t believe how quickly time is flying by! 

Olivia had her two month doctor appointment and she got 3 shots and she cried/screamed the saddest way I’ve ever heard. And I admit I did cry after the fact. On that same day Olivia experienced her first snow fall!! 

She has begun chewing on her hands and trying to grab her blankie and pulling it to her face! 

Also, SLOBBER!! hahaha since she tiurned 2 months she has had a ton of slobber and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon!! 

I am still breastfeeding Olivia full time, but we were told by her doctor to introduce a bottle to her so that she could get used to it for when I work at Block this season. So Nick gave her her first bottle and she took it like a pro!! 

The week before Christmas I had two meeting for work and Olivia had a hard time staying with my sister and Nick those two times and cried a lot. So that week she started sleeping 8 to 9 hours a night! And this has been a blessing, getting some solid sleep for this exhausted momma! 

I am still pumping and freezing milk so that Olivia has plenty of milk for whenever we need it! I have a 3.5 ft chest freezer almost full of milk, so I’m not really sure what will happen if I actually fill it up and will need another freezer! haha 

I go back to work at the beginning of January for the tax season, while I am excited to be making some extra money for my family I know I will be homesick away from Olivia. It will be a big difference from staying at home with her all day. And this season looks to be especially busy and crazy for me since we have lost/replaced a lot of people in my office!! But I will keep in mind it’s only 3.5 months and I will survive. It just makes me sad to realize that my baby girl will be 6 months by the end of the season so I am not wishing for time to fly by when it comes to her!

Nick and I are so in love with our little girl and amazed at what she learns everyday from her hands to her new facial expressions!!
