I’m so happy to have a place to share a little about myself so that you can get to know me and we can begin to connect.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Nick, six years married and 11 years together. We have been through a lot in our years together, dating as kids, 4 years active duty out in California, married at 18 & 19 years old, and then having a suprise baby within the first year of having moved to South Carolina. Nick second shoots weddings with me, so you will get to meet the both of us! When Nick is not helping me shoot weddings he works with a small home builder in the Upstate. I could not be more happy to have such a handy husband that can fix just about anything and build us beautiful pieces for our home.
We have a very spicy and adorable one year old daughter, who keeps us on our toes! Olivia is seriously the light of our lives, she is so incredibly happy and energetic. At 16 months young she is still nursing, attempting to sleep through the night and loves eating fruit all day every day. We could not have asked for a better, happier, spunkier little girl.
We moved to Upstate South Carolina in the fall of 2016 from California after my husband served 4 years active duty in the USMC, where I was able to earn my Associates and start building my photography business! We have been very blessed and we love the opportunities to continue to learn and grow in life! Like I mentioned above Nick is extremely talented with his hands and has built us a beautiful dining table for our new place and we are worknig on plans for a coffee station and tv stand. I also love to use my hands to crochet and to bake and cook! There are so many things that I can create out of yarn it makes me giddy!
I have seven sisters, and now that we are older we all get along pretty well! Ha! I am the third girl, there is a set of twins after me and then 3 more. My parents kept trying for a boy, but thankfully they stopped after having eight girls. I couldn’t love being a part of a big family more than I do, I don’t want a family that large myself but the connection I have with my sisters makes me want to consider it.
I seriously don’t get to read enough but I truly love reading a good murder mystery, Agatha Christie is my all time favorite author. I have almost finished all the Hercule Poirot series and also working on the Miss Marple series. Every time I read one of her books I kick myslef because I NEVER figure it out. Never. Agatha Christie lays all the clues out clearly throughout the book but it’s not until the end when she lists out how the murder was done and accuses the murderer that I see it.
We are loving our home church Fellowship Greenville, and I love getting to capture our sweet church families. I really love our worship team and the time we get to spend worshipping Christ with our church family. Once a month I get to help out with one of the two year old classes and it’s always fun and I learn some fun new things from them! Charlie Boyd is our lead pastor and seems like Sunday after Sunday I am amazed that i clearly understand his message and it really resonates with my life. I am incredibly thankful that I am a Child of God and I forever have a home in Him.
